In 2017, Action Against Hunger UK raised £31.4m to support the most vulnerable populations around the world. We launched major humanitarian assistance programmes in response to looming famines in north-east Nigeria, Yemen and Somalia. In 2017, Action Against Hunger’s teams are also carried out vital work in Bangladesh. As of January 2018, over 615,000 Rohingya refugees were supported through our work.
These responses would not have been possible without the work of our frontline field workers and the generosity of our supporters in the UK and, in particular, from the amazing contributions made by the UK food and hospitality industry.
