What we stand for
We tackle the causes and effects of hunger in vulnerable communities – no matter what the circumstances.
We couldn’t save the lives of malnourished children and help their families to beat hunger around the world without our amazing supporters.
That’s why we’re encouraging you to make a donation to Action Against Hunger if you’re able to. But we also recognise it’s your decision and you need to make it in your own time.
We’re committed to fundraising in an honest and transparent way while ensuring our supporters are treated with respect.
We don’t take your donation for granted, so this is our promise to you.
Your donations are personal to you. We adhere to the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), and we’ll never sell or share your data with a third party.
We constantly work hard to ensure that your donations have maximum impact in the fight against hunger. We’ll always put your gift to work wherever the need is greatest.
If we, or people acting on our behalf, fail to meet our high standards, we’ll take appropriate action quickly to resolve the problem.
From the beginning, we’ll make it clear and simple for you to choose how you want to hear from us. If you tell us that you want to hear from us less or not at all, we’ll update and respect your communication preferences.
We work hard to remain fully compliant with all data protection laws and we strive for best practice in all areas of fundraising. If we do get things wrong, we’ll be upfront about our mistakes, apologise and fix them as soon as possible.
You can always speak to someone in our friendly supporter care team on 020 8853 7577 or email us at support@actionagainsthunger.org.uk if you have any questions.
We tackle the causes and effects of hunger in vulnerable communities – no matter what the circumstances.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’re able to support 21 million people around the world.
We’ve put together some answers to the questions our supporters ask us the most about our work and how we fundraise.
